Kenneth P. Vogel – who goes by "Ken" when he's not in ostentatious reporter mode – tracks the confluence of money, politics and influence for Politico.

Vogel appeared as a guest commentator on the first Current TV edition of Countdown with Keith Olbermann, discussing an article he wrote for Politico alleging that certain right-wing pundits give their ideological support to whomever pays them for it, in light of a response by Mark Levin that confirmed Vogel's allegations.

On the 28 June 2011 edition, he discussed the field of Republican candidates for the 2012 presidential election, including Mitt Romney, Michele Bachmann, and Sarah Palin.

On the 1 July 2011 edition, he discussed a May 14th statement by Marcus Bachmann, Michele Bachmann's husband, in which he called homosexuals "barbarians" who must be "educated" and "disciplined" to correct their "sinful nature."
